What’s Inside the Printable?

30-Day Activity Calendar

A numbered calendar with one clearly named movement activity for every day and space to mark progress.

Movement Instructions

Simple explanations for the activities, including movements that may be less familiar.

Completion Certificate

A printable way to recognise effort, consistency and the fun of finishing the challenge.

A Peek at the Daily Challenges

Children will try activities such as 10 star jumps, 10 frog hops, 20 seconds balancing on one leg before switching, 10 wall push-ups and 3 minutes of dancing. Later days include gentle stretches, marches, squats and short movement circuits. Every challenge has a clear action and a manageable goal.

How to Use the Tracker

  1. Print the three-page pack once the download is available.
  2. Write your child’s name and pick a starting day.
  3. Complete the day’s movement at a comfortable pace, using the instruction guide if needed.
  4. Tick or colour the calendar box after finishing the activity.
  5. Celebrate progress with the completion certificate after 30 challenge days.

Suitable for Ages 5–15

The activity on the calendar is a starting point, not a requirement. Younger children (roughly ages 5–7) can do fewer repetitions or shorter times; children ages 8–11 can try the listed goal; and older children ages 12–15 can repeat an activity for another round if it feels comfortable. Ability and enjoyment matter more than age.

Make space to move safely, supervise younger children and encourage breaks. Children should stop if an activity causes pain or dizziness. The tracker is a playful activity resource, not a fitness test or substitute for medical advice.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the 30-Day Kids Fitness Challenge free?

Yes. The printable PDF is free to download.

Does my child need any special equipment?

No gym equipment is required. The activities are designed around simple movements that can be adapted to the space available.

What if we miss a day?

Simply continue on another day. The goal is to build enjoyable movement habits, not maintain a perfect streak.

Can siblings of different ages do the challenge together?

Yes. Each child can choose a comfortable number of repetitions or duration, even when doing the same day’s activity.
