Ps5 seems to work fine without the fan being operational, but I noticed when I took the cover off that the pads from the fan connector are missing shown in photo 3 & 4 so you will need to have some soldering skills to fix this issue . The console Hasn’t over heated on me , I’ve kept it on for about 30 minutes played some games on it and it didn’t shut off so the fan connector seems to be the only issue .
